James Turner is the visionary founder and lead designer of Velocity Art and Design. His journey into the world of design began at the University of Cincinnati\’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
During his studies, he focused on sustainable design practices, spatial planning, and innovative material applications, laying a strong foundation for creating functional and eco-friendly spaces.
Seeking to deepen his artistic perspective, James pursued a Certificate in Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) in Ohio. This program allowed him to explore contemporary art techniques, visual communication, and multimedia artistry.
